BITE BACK FOR A CURE
In 2013, I pitched the Tick-Borne Disease Alliance on a cross-country bike ride/media campaign.
And they absolutely loved the idea.
Within a year, I was cycling across the country and raising awareness for a great cause.

TBDA was a newly merged Lyme disease organization trying to build their digital presence from the ground up. And so, they did what a lot of awareness organizations do: they re-posted relevant articles and published the occasional blog. The challenge? No one was really listening.
Create a cross-country media campaign to raise money for a better diagnostic test, give voice to the Lyme disease community, and build TBDA's digital following by producing engaging, proprietary content daily: 1 Facebook video every day.
RESULTS
We raised $200,000 and grew TBDA's Facebook following from 3,000-15,000 likes. We also met with hundreds of patients along the way and spoke with major news channels, including: Fox, CBS, NBC, and NPR.
We finished the campaign in Washington D.C., where I delivered a speech to Senate Staffers. Amazing experience.
Let's use our words.
